Solved! Spam tabs open when pc is "idle"

So I dont know exactly what caused this but it started yesterday.
I checked my pc with Eset and Malwarebytes but it didnt solve the issue.
The spam tabs never open when im actively using my browser (Opera) but they start opening when im "idle" (watching a video i.e). If the browser is not open and my pc is idle it will just open the browser with a spam tab.

Hello,

Go to Add/Remove programs and check to see if there is any unnecessary software that were installed without your intention. Try booting to safe mode and then scan with malware bytes anti-malware.

Also check your browser (opera) to see if there is any unwanted extensions running...

Yea I've already done those steps, it helped with other problems (ads even though I had adblock on), but the spam tabs still persist, im sure its dug deep into my pc files.
How would scanning in safe mode help? And how can I do it?

If the adware files are dug deep inside the system files as you said , you cannot remove them during normal startup. So you'll have to boot into safe mode and scan the pc with your anti-spyware or virus cleaner software. Which version of Windows you are using?
