Speaker making noise!

Hey,
My Speakers are making a banging noise.
Is this the speakers fault or the home system players

All these young whippersnappers tunes sound like banging to me! Gives me a headache! 😉

Could you describe the sound more? Also, I'd check your cables and see if there's any electrical cables near them or they've been chewed by a pet or something.

Does the noise happen at louder volumes only?
You may be over driving the woofers. If you have the bass boosted don't. This will allow the speakers to play lower in the bass where it is being asked to play louder than they can.
You can damage the woofers very easily this way. You may already have done so.
