Solved! Spilled coffee on my Asus ROG GL553VD

Hey everyone,

So today I spilled half of my coffee in my Asus ROG and the screen went black a few seconds later. It took me arround 20 seconds to turn it off. Now it is drying upside down in a heater for at least 24h. The plan is to open it and clean as much as I can.

Any chances to save it? Any piece of advice?

Pull the disk and attempt to copy data from it on a known working PC. Check your homeowner's (or renters) insurance.

To be honest, thr less I care about is my data, as everything important is stored in Onedrive. Sadly, my insurance doesnt cover liquid spills...
