Solved! Split screen

Hi my acer chromebook 14 has a split screen after unplugging hdmi cable
first time this has happened, guy in pc shop said the software is ok, didn't have a screen to fit it but said more issues could be found after.
The right side of the screen did a lot of flashing and breaking into lines, now has gone black on right side.

Any help, bran.

Check the screen cable, re-seat it.
