I have an asus k42ja-vx032d laptop with WD Scorpio Blue 640GB WD6400-bevt hard disk. The hard disk is damaged and want to replace it. I wanted to know if I it can be replaced by an SSD drive. The one i am looking is SanDisk SSD 128 GB Laptop Internal Hard Drive (SDSSDP-128G-G25).
Please let me know of the compatibility.

Thanks in advance.

I can confirm that the SanDisk will fit and work in there. The SSD has a lower power requirement than the original HDD and both are SATA, it'll work.

My only worries were the pins, interfaces and power parameters. Can you confirm on that?

Thanks a lot

I used to do gaming on the laptop, but now that I have another console I dont play often in my laptop, only small games. Mainly I use i my laptop for other purposes.
That is why I thought 128 gb would be fine.
Any suggestions?
