How big is the drive? It only supports up to 512GB. SSD SATA M.2 2242 support up to 512G to be exact according to their post here.
It is exactly the one in the link, i.e. 256gb
You have an NVMe drive and a SATA port.
Is it just me or are the pin layout and notch on the right from an nvme port?
I'm probably wrong but all the info I found online tell me that what I photographed is not a sata port.
In this photo it is very clear.
I also thought it could be a flipped port for some strange reason, but if you count the pins after the notch they are 4 and the sata port has 5

old sata m.2 are b&m key.
you can keep trying or test with a sata m.2
Okay, maybe i get it. Tell me if I'm wrong please, here's what I understood:
My motherboard has an M key but only supports Sata.
M keys are normally used for NVMe and in fact I can't find a m.2 sata with M key (plus it's 2242).
So I have to look for a b&m keyed m.2 sata, which from what I understand works with both sockets.
And also it must be max 512gb.
I'm right?
