Some of the quests in Stardew Valley can be tough to solve, while others can take some time. Instead of wasting away your time, and resources to complete a quest, find a Walk-through. “How to find friends” is another one of the simple, and easy quests available in Stardew Valley. It is fairly easy to complete and requires little to no strategy.
Background
The “How to find friends” quest is triggered by first finishing the Introductions quest. My advice to you is to complete “How to find friends” quest immediately after the “Introduction” quest. The Introduction’s quest requires a substantial amount of time and is much harder to complete. It requires you to meet most of the people in and around Pelican Town. The “How to find friends” is a tutorial on how to put your people’s skill to the test by giving someone a gift. The objective of the quest is to improve your standing with the NPCs.
Walkthrough
The quest is fairly easy to complete; you will just need to give someone a gift.
1. Firstly you will have to find a perfect gift to give to someone. A Daffodil pick right off the ground is by far the most logical choice as it is easy to obtain and cost you nothing.
2. Secondly, you will have to choose a person to give the Daffodil to. Try to pick a person with whom; you can improve your social standing. Any of the NPCs on the social tab will do quite nicely.
3. Avoid giving the gift to Gunther at the museum. Giving a Daffodil to Gunther will not improve your social standing.
4. Once you have decided the gift, and the NPC; you would like to give the gift to. Head on over to the Hot-key Menu.
5. On the Hot Key Menu, select the gift, and hover the cursor over the NPC of your choice. This will hand the Gift over to the NPC.
And that is it. Congratulation on completing the quest. The Game will reward you a 100 gold as a reward for your good deed. To collect your reward, you will need to open your journal (This can be done by either pressing J on your keyboard, or by clicking on the exclamation mark below the gold total. Once you are in the Journal, click on the reward at the bottom of your “How to find friends,” and voila you now have an extra 100 gold in your bank.
“How to find friends” Quest is one of the easiest one to solve, but it will require a lot of time.
