Strange sound from subwoofer .

I have the MS Industrial 2.1 speakers.It's the Croatian brend,not so famous but it's good.Problem is that in last time subwoofer started to make some strange rustle noise when lower tones come.Yea,the speakers ARE 10 years old,but I like them and for all these years they worked good.I know that they are so many situations when I "raped" my speakers because I so love to push volume up a lot,but is there option for repair,or this is end for them?

By your description, it sounds like the speaker may be 'cooked', assuming the 2 other speakers sound fine still (if they didn't, it would likely be the built in amplifier). Repair of the sub professionally is probably not worth it, and your best option would be to see if you can open the sub enclosure yourself and then try to buy an individual speaker that matches the original sub (size, wattage, impedance).

Yes two other speakers are good.The noise is still not so loud.If it goes worse,I will probably buy new speakers,because I don't want to buy some similiar speakers and change it with old.I'm happy since they worked all this years

It could be the amplifier inside the subwoofer. You might have to open the subwoofer up.
