Solved! Streaming Question

We have a smart TV in our family room that we use to stream programs from Netflix and Prime video. We're thinking about getting a smart DVD player for our non Smart TV in the bedroom. I don't know if there are any cables that need to be attached to something or does the Wi-Fi on the DVD player pick up our home network so that we can stream the same services without any special connections?

The DVD player will have wifi built in. You may need to upgrade your Netflix to allow for more than one stream at the same time.
If you don't actually need to play DVDs a Roku, Android, Fire, or Apple streamer may offer more options to stream from than the DVD has.
