Question Struggling with asus laptop

I got this asus laptop from someone in rhe family, ive been using it for about a month, and earlier today while using it it suddenly gave me an orange screen, it said thay "something went wrong and it needs to restart", now evertytime i select my profile and log into it on my laptop, i just get a black screen, even tho i can still move my mouse around, does anyone know whats wrong?
