I have a 1400 watts pioneer sub woofer running with a 1500 watts Boschmann amp and recently it has started distorting sound, that is it suddenly adds more sound on its own and then suddenly stops. whta could be the problem?
First guess is the woofer is damaged.
The power ratings of the speaker and amp may not be accurate. Even if they are you can still damage the woofer over time.

For sure.
I had a weird situation with my 1400W (@2ohms) true RMS continuous bridged to mono sub rig. The dust cap on one of the woofers came loose and added a buzzing sound at higher levels. I re-attached it - prob solved.
Do you have another sub you can test the amp with? Have you checked all connections to be sure they're solid?
YOUR AMP:
Power output: 1500W @ 2Ω
Bridged power output: 250W RMS x 2CH @ 4Ω
Rated Continuous power output: 110W RMS x 4CH (@ 2 Ohms)
Rated Continuous power output: 75W RMS x 4CH (@ 4 Ohms)
