Subwoofer cable alternative

I have a yamaha rx v681 available receiver. It is connected to the subwoofer with a rca cable.somehome the rca cable came out of the receiver with the metal casing on tip remained inside. So can I use a 3.5mm jack as output from reciever to connect subwoofer to Receiver? It is a 7.1 home theatre system.

No you can't. That jack is the only place to connect a subwoofer.
A repair tech should be able to help by removing the broken part of the RCA plug.
