Hello,
I have an inexpensive subwoofer left over from s surround system.Can I use the permanent speaker wires from sub and convert to rca cable for my reciever output designated for sub?

Depends on whether the receiver sub output is amplified or not or whether sub contains an amplifier or just a speaker.

Do not attempt to wire up until you have satisfied yourself as to these issues.
