Suggested speeds for gaming?

Hello guys
I was wondering what suggested download and upload speeds I should be getting in order to play game without any lag. Thankyou in advance
As of right now sometimes i get 10mb/s Download and 4mb/s upload speeds.
And sometimes it can dip down to 4 mb/s download speeds and 2mb/s upload speeds.

I use speedtest.net to determine my speeds.
And my ping is usually under 10 when I use this test.
but when I play League of Legend, it displays on avg of 200-300ping during game play.

You should have plenty of bandwidth, the lag in the game prob comes from an overloaded server that can't feed all the people that are logged in any higher.
