Hello guys, I am going to buy my first laptop, I retire the PC :D

I'm looking to buy a laptop that I use for online video, movies and playing dota2
My budget is max £400
Could you suggest me something please:)

Now I'm looking at something
Asus 15,6"

AMD A8-7410 Quad Core (2.2GHz, 2MB Cache, AMD Turbo Up To 2.5GHz)

RAM 8GB(1600mhz)

1tb hdd

Integrated (AMD Radeon R5 Series Graphics)
Wireless LAN
£380

Solution
Ignore the Lenovo laptop with the FX-7500 APU. Get the following Asus K501UQ for the same price with a dual core i5-6200u, nVidia 940mx and 1080p screen for the same price.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-Notebook-i5-6200U-Processor-Graphics/dp/B01HIWOOYA/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1481577420&sr=8-12&keywords=940m

The nVidia 940mx is a lot more powerful than the Radeon R7 (Kaveri) integrated graphics core which is only a little more powerful than the nVidia 920m.

Despite the i5-6200u being a dual core CPU with Hyper Threading (virtual cores), it is more powerful than the FX-7500 APU. Intel CPUs are able to process more instructions every 1Hz than AMD APUs / CPUs can do.

Hi there,

I would never go for the cheap brands... for the same money you can buy a professional Lenovo with almost same config. but at least it will not let you down after warranty expires !
When you buy a laptop be sure you keep the fan and airways clean ! Heat breaks down components and get you malfunctions !
Let us know what you bought!
cheers, Louise.
