Suggestion regarding purchase of a lap top for my needs

Hello,
I have bought an acer lap top with p6200 processor 2.13 Ghz having window 7 in it
Can I make it dual booting one with Linux OP
Is there any problem in doing so?
If yes, then pls suggest which lap top should I buy?

Yes you can; it's a little tricky having two different boot loaders though.
Find one of the many 'how-to guides' out there on the Internet.

Examples:
Dual-Boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu in Perfect Harmony
