I’m not a tech and don’t understand a lot of the posts I have read. I simply want two cameras one front and one rear to cover my exposure in a townhouse on a golf course. As my front is on a curve I would like a fov as wide as possible with a camera that will give me the ability to see a face so I can recognize a neighbor or a stranger day or night at about 30 feet.
There is pretty good ambient light during the night in the front but none in the rear golf course area. I do not want any subscriptions or a recording device, I prefer using a SD card. My budget is around $200 each pre Black Friday pricing.
I’m presently using a Wyze v2 floodlight camera in the front and not satisfied with the clarity of humans and a Eufy e340 in the rear which is pretty good when working properly. I am a contractor so I have no problem running wire or mounting cameras. I don’t know much about about the numbers involved with digital zoom to get the pictures I want and I know optical zoom is best so I guess saying whatever works to achieve my goal Sorry for long post but I’m trying to give as much info as I can so I can get the best responses. Thanks for any and all information.
