Question Super weird Netflix issue: New titles work older titles dont

So randomly Netflix stopped working on my apple TV 3rd gen the other day and refused to play the next episode sighting error 139 and after much trouble shooting it still refuses to cooperate. The weird thing is new titles work older ones don't. This leaves to to believe I can connect the closer server that houses the in demand titles but when I try to access the further away server I get timed out and error 139 gets displayed. Netflix support has been all but useless and told me it's a connection issue and to contact my isp, my ISP promptly said can you connect to their server at all; yes; well it's not a connection issue. Has anyone had\heard about an issue like this before? I'm sure it will just fix itself one day but I'd like that day sooner than later.

Internal Netflix app
Apple TV 3rd gen
WiFi or wired doesn't matter
Hotspoting from my phone fixes that issue
Resetting\restarting does nothing
Sign out of all devices on Netflix worked for one episode then broke again
