Surround sound questions

I have 5.1 surround sound hooked into my dish hopper. I wanted to know if there was a way to pair my ps4 to it so it will come through the surround sound also. Will a digital audio from ps4 to hopper work?

You can't connect the PS4 to the Hopper. No inputs for additional sources.
You can connect both the Hopper and PS4 to your TV and then connect the TV to the HTS.
Or you can get an input selector for the HTS that you can connect the audio out of the Hopper and PS4.
Since we don't know what inputs your mystery 5.1 surround sound has a more exact answer is impossible.
