SVE15123CDS - From Windows 8 to Windows 7

I want to put Windows 7 on a Sony Vaio SVE15123CDS laptop that came with Windows 8. I have a valid key for Windows 7. Can you point me in the right direction for drivers? Thanks.

They just list the drivers for Windows 8.

Then you are out of luck unless you TRY it and see if the 8 or Vista drivers MAY work...

I put Windows 7 on the laptop successfully. I'll post how I did it shortly.

Okay. First, what I did after installing Windows 7 on the Sony Vaio SVE15123CDS laptop is I downloaded the network card driver for Windows 7 and then ran Windows Update. Windows Update found all but four drivers. Next, I downloaded and installed a program called DriverEasy. I ran a scan for drivers, and it successfully downloaded and installed three of those missing drivers. It also downloaded and installed the driver for the wireless, but it wasn't the correct one. I actually went to the Sony driver download page for this laptop, and used the Windows 8 wireless driver. It actually worked. Problem solved. Goodbye Windows 8, hello Windows 7.
