I have 4 TVs. I had the hdmi cable on the source TV plugged into the input port of a 4 way splitter. The 3 other tvs were plugged into the output ports of the splitter. Then I bought a switcher for the tv and I have the dish receiver, the blu-ray player and the firestick plugged into it.
In order to use the switcher, the hdmi cable that was going to the input port of the splitter has to go into the switcher's output port which means the splitter is useless now because the input cable is now in the switcher.
How do I hook the source tv to a switcher and a splitter?
I thought maybe take the hdmi cable from the tv that goes into the switcher's output port and split it twice: one into the switcher and one into the splitter but I don't think that would work.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how I can make this work?
