system update stuck

Hi,
I need help. My Asus Memo Pad hd7 ask to update then I response with yes then proceeded to install however aftrr sometime like an hour already its stillinstalling update then when I tried to turn it off it wont turn off even the tab has run out of battery already then was chargeds still stuck on installing update

Hold the power button down until it shuts off.
I would restore to factory settings when you get it back on, and then go through the updates again. That's if you don't have any important pictures or files on there anymore.

i already did that many times but still no work for the tab

mine is so terrible its a black screen with animated android robot with installing update when i try to turn on/off thise things show up:
installing update..
verifying current system....
removing unneeded files....
patching system files....
patching boot image...
unpacking new files....
unpacking new recovery....
symlinks and permissions.....

I'd say to just leave it running for a few hours and see if it can fix itself.
If not, call the support while letting it down on battery.

It's probably corrupted at this point.
