I never turn off my phone. After a few days, it starts to respond slowly to
key presses and scrolling through the phone book, etc. If I turn it off and
back on again it is restored to its usual quickness.

Is this a known problem or is my phone defective?

Thanks.

If re-booting it solves the problem it's going to be in the
software/firmware. So, no, it is very unlikely that the
phone itself is defective. You should check the software/
firmware version and see if there is an update available.
If so, go to the store and have it flashed.

My software version is 1.2.22.45.5P. Is this the latest?

Thanks again.

Never noticed this on my T730.

My V120E does the same thing. Motorola seriously needs to consider a
dedicated signal processor in their CDMA phones.

The menus are instant when its on analog. Go figure.
