takes forever to startup. any thoughts?

I am a truck driver and bought a laptop from Dell about a year ago. All I really use it for is to watch movies and skype with my family. When purchasing, was told it included a free upgrade to Windows 10, ever since I upgraded the OS it started taking longer and longer to startup. Now sometimes it have to restart it a couple times and it can take several minutes to get to the homescreen.

Does the laptop have an SSD or regular HDD? Mechanical HDD's, what's your CPU/RAM usage look like during typical use? Could be a software or hardware issue. Perhaps try some of these methods: https/www.easeus.com/computer-instruction/speed-up-pc-aptop-after-windows-10-fall-creators-update.html
