I have a 50 inch TCL LED (LE50FHD3010M) that will power on and the display itself lights up dimly, as it does when no signal is present, but cannot get any display menus or anything. No input indication, channel numbers, startup logo image, etc.. TV remains on until around 5 minutes or so and turns off, which I believe it is supposed to do when left on with no input. Any ideas?

Most likely somethings gone inside, probably be the power supply board not properly powering up the TV. Cost of fixing it would set you back roughly $200 for parts and labor from a electronics repairer. Thats if it is the power supply board, it could be something else like the inverter. The repairer would investigate.

One thing you can try that might indicate power supply board is remove the AC power and hold the TV power button in for 10seconds to drain the power. Leave for a minute with AC still disconnected then connect the power and turn it on. You may get a picture for a few seconds(or very dimmed - shining a torch at screen might help to see better)
