Bought a television a while back ( Vizio SZV22XVT) and noticed that it would display wavy lines when I would play games in anything other than 'i' resolutions. 480p/720p/1080p, all would display the lines, getting more visible the more I upped the resolution. For the time I just dealt with it, choosing to run my 360 in 1080i, and not running progressive scan when playing the wii.
Now, I am planning on going the way of pc gaming sometime this year, and was hoping to use the television as a decent monitor until I could save up for an actual monitor. Anyway, it seems it's about time to figure out if it's just an issue with the television itself, or something I am doing.
Does anyone have any idea on what could be causing this, or if it's a simply a problem with the television? I haven't really come across people bringing up this issue with this tv in particular, so I am not sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
