What a crappy, clickbait article. It's a straight-up lie because the author can't do simple math or read. The phone has always been $300 defaulted to "activated today" price for as long as it has been on Best Buy's site. There is no extra $50 discount coming out of nowhere. Terrible.

You can get an extra $50 off with Sprint by adding a line. This brings the cost down to $250. My problem with the article is that you can't get a discount if you are on T-Mobile directly.
