The First LEGO-brick Digital Camera

This is not the first Lego camera at all. As I remember Lego released the Vision Command set for the Robotics Invention System 1.5 and 2.0 back in 1999. The camera was USB 1.1 compatible and acted just like every other TWAIN compliant webcam that you could imagine. The resolution was 620x480, at around 30 frames per second. My Vision Command camera paired with a 1GHz classic Athlon system with 128 MB SDRAM was enough to run a primitive Java face recognition applet that I coded for a sixth grade science fair project.
