I've shared this prediction before, and I'll share it again. If you want a sneak peek at the lower-cost iPhones for 2025, one need only study the iPhone 14 and 15. Because those are the only choices you're going to have.

Selling the iPhone 16 for $799, iPhone 15 for $699, iPhone 14 for $599, and a super-duper iPhone SE 4 for perhaps $499 would be the height of stupidity. Now that mid-range Android phones come with big OLED panels, 5G, and multiple cameras, there's nothing of consequence for Apple to remove in order to sensibly position the SE below older flagships that it still enjoys selling.

I love a good deal, and people in my family have owned every generation of the iPhone SE over the years, but logic tells me that the SE line is dead. I think that will only change if Apple finds that they simply can't convince customers to buy one- and two-year-old flagships anymore.
