It must be a male/female thing because I, as a female, hated the default home screen as it was so I immediately went to Themes and changed it. Not only did I check out the free ones such as Seasonal, but they have some great ones for a small fee. Same for Screensavers. They also have some seasonal and ones with Clocks embedded which I've found very convenient.
It's funny just the slightest of tastes led me to stopping something which is the bane of my existence these days...ADS! 😂

In the latest Roku OS, this setting has moved to 'Wallpaper Updates' and 'Seasonal Themes' no longer exists.
