I agree that "What We Do in the Shadows" may be the very funniest show on television and is addictively bingeworthy. The characters are fantastic and unusually well-developed (particularly given that they are mostly Vampires), the writing is sparklingly clever and intelligent, liberally sprinkled with historic and contemporary cultural references, the plots are ridiculously edgy and absurd, filled with sly innuendoes and double entendres, the takes on classical monsters and legends like werewolves, zombies and ghosts are truly original and bleepin' hilarious, and the accents are truly Clouseau-worthy.

For instance, I loved the way they worshipped the Lord of their allies the Owls, called the "Superb Owl" and were so honored to be invited to their neighbor's "Superb Owl" party in early February.

And, of course, no vampire story would be complete without Van Helsing, and their take on that character is, well, really quite unique.

Just watch it. You'll see.
