The Pixel Watch 3 is my first ever smartwatch — and so far it’s just a glorified Fitbit

Ive gone through a few smartwatches but Ive realized at the end of the day, all I caee for is seeing the time, tracking my steps and seeing the temperature. I dont care for HR monitoring etc, just steps. I got fed up with WearOS watches only lasting 24 hours max, I got a $30 smartwatch when I was in Hong Kong and it does all I need and lasts a week on one charge. It aint the best but not having to charge nightly is a huge bonus. I was thinking to get a fitbit as my next watch, just a shame they dont have round screens. I dont feel like splurging $300+ on something like a oneplus watch just to get better battery on my glorified step counter.

Has to be a getting used to thing like you said at the end there. Personally I love my smartwatch, I use it to quickly view my calendar, check notifications (and decide whether or not it's worth taking my phone out to reply), setting reminders, setting timers, alarms, tracking workouts, controlling spotify and taking calls. Probably some I forget 😅

I got a Samsung watch, unfortunately though I probably wouldn't recommend getting it if you don't own a Samsung phone since you will lose out on features like synchronising do not disturb and Samsung modes/Routines (with other androids a pixel watch is probably a better choice)
