I can tell you some other reasons. Pixel phones are just garbage. I've owned several iterations and that's my assessment now. My last one was the Pixel 7 Pro and I was on my 3rd one after Google had replaced it two other times. Finally my 3rd one died last week, it just refused to charge, so with that I'm done.
Android forums are full of complaints about volume button just coming off, the camera glass exploding, glitches etc. Heck, you have YT reviewers with previoud models so plagued with issues coming out and saying don't buy. To top it off my Pixel Buds Pro have tons of issues to the point I'm just completely turned off from the brand.
I had th Pixel 2, 5, and 7 and every single iteration had to be replaced at least once within a year due to some sort of defect. My daily driver is now a Fold 4. I will never buy another Pixel phone or even device again.
