That's awesome, but what's up with the odd resolution?

I too am curious how it connects, and if it would work for not just movies but games. This might be pretty cool for FPS and racing games! Add head tracking and we'll start getting closer to some nice VR tech.

Price is pretty steep, but if it doesn't have some retarded proprietary connection I'd still be interested.

I'll tell ya.. My friend bought a pair of the older model and they really hurt your eyes.. Its like your sitting 10 feet away from it.. I dunno I didn't like him and neither did he.. We tried playing half life and such with them but the problem is that since they are basically glasses with LCDs in them they don't block out the light from other areas making it where your eyes can easily "wander". They need to do it like a virtual boy where they block out all light except the light that is coming from the glasses and it would probably not hurt as bad..

Sure, and simulate a true 1000 inch screen 100 yards away!
Truth is, the screen is not half a mile away, but less than 2 inches, which makes the screen you see closer to 1 inch in size!

Can they be adjusted for nearsightedness too? I'm not switching from eyeglasses to contact lenses just to use this product...

Too expensive and the resolution is too low as well.
Give me 1080p @ $249 or lower and I'd buy them.
Where do you plug in video inputs?
A small cord wraping behind my ear to accept an HDMI input would be sufficient.
