You may only pay a penny but you need to provide enough info on Amazon checkout including a credit check to get these phones with a Boost Mobile plan.. and the Boost plan covers $1000 of device credit. So you pay $60 per line with these iPhones (which includes the device credit per month) but any device over 1000 you pay per month over a 3 year contract. So the iPhone 15 pro max 256gb retails at $1200 so take your 200/36 and your bill becomes 65.56+tax/fees. And it's much higher per iPhone storage tier where the 512 is an additional $11.11 and 1tb $16.67 a month. And obviously, if you cancel service, you're on the hook to pay it all back.

Just to be clear, Boost Infinite is a NEW wireless carrier leveraging ATT/T-Mobile towers and has nothing to do with Boost Mobile. Boost Infinite reviews and network tests have generally been positive and better than Boost Mobile.

NOW... the Boost Mobile iPhone deal is even WORSE than how you described above. Boost Infinite Unlimited plan is normally $25/mo. They will give you *free* various models of the iPhone 15 by paying a higher rate of $60/mo (plus even more $$ if your model's base price costs more than $1000 as you described). $60-$25=$35 more per month (or $1260 over a 36-month period). So you're not getting a *free* phone or even close to it; you're paying Boost Infinite $1260 over 36 months PLUS any costs over any $1000 base price. You're actually LOSING $260 through this deal ($1260 - $1000) and stuck with a good but not great wireless carrier and customer service.

You would literally be better off buying any iPhone 15 model for full price and then signing up for Boost Infinite Unlimited plan $25/mo. I recognize that many people cannot afford $1000-$1600 one time payment, so financing a monthly payment for 36-months may be a better option. But, other carriers should have better deals (actual discounts on the phone vs this Boost Infinite scam). You can also purchase directly from Apple.com and finance for 24 months plus discounts for trade-ins. By buying directly from Apple.com, you are not locked in to a wireless service plan for 36-months.
