I would like a unit that would allow me to plug in a USB (or multiple USB) to listen to audio on my home stereo unit. Specifically one that would have a screen to list the entries (sogns or album) on the USB so the listener can choose waht they would like to listed. My car has this option adn I would like it in my house. One USB has 116 audioe records I have transferrred from my cd and vinyl collection. In my car I can choose that specific USB (of the two I have plugged in) then a list of all the albums (or entries) show on the entertainment screen on the dash board (yes, I do have to scroll throught the list) allowing me to choose which album, I want to listen. The second USB has over 800 songs I transferred and offer the same option. So when I am at home I would like to turn everything on and there is a list of the 116 albums (or I scroll thright the list) choose the entry I want to listen and it would play. That is how my car audio system works. I have found a few that might work but there is no video screen to list the entries, and to have a USB for each album, I would just stick with the CD's.. If not a USB any form of storage would work if the information can be routinely transferred form a USB. I do not have a laptop at home and the computer is not in the vicinity of the home entertainemnt system. Any suggestion without purchasing anew receiver/amplifier?

Some Blu-ray players actually do what you’re looking for — plug in a USB stick, and they’ll let you browse through folders/albums on your TV. Not as slick as a car system, but functional.
