Time travel UDK C++

I have experience with UDK and c++
And I would really like to know how you would make a game that uses time travel

Such as going back in time ( such as what happens in true skate) and stopping it and slowing it down (such as focus in watch dogs and mirrors edge)

I do not expect a complete script but just an idea of how or if it was possible

Sounds very similar to what they did in Braid... only thing I could think of is constantly tracking the movement/actions of the player and all enemies/entities in the game into arrays or something and then when time travel/time control is activated replay the actions in reverse order (i.e. if player moved forward, jumped, then moved forward again you would have the player move backward, jump, and move backward again)
