Time weather missing

Somehow the time/weather disappeared from my screen. Once in a while the widget page comes up and I can see it there but cant figure out how to get it back on my screen

N817 when i first activated the phone couple weeks ago the box with the time and weather was on the initial screen I saw as u can tell im not well versed with androids and smartphones sorry for the inconvenience

Make sure to update the weather app via Play Store to see if that resolves it. You can also check the apps settings to see how you might set it up.
