It's not that bad. I think "KillerNotebooks" should be banned, like he was at AnandTech.
i just registered to respond to this.
KillerNotebooks is the reason I READ this forum. He is about the only contributor that actually has a command of the facts and is willing to educate the rest of us.
Sure, he is selling his company, but go back and read his "sales" pitches. They are all comparative and very informative to the question that the initiator of the thread asked.
KN's messages are on target and he doesn't denigrate his competition, he makes real comparisons to his and others products. And he is keen to have his laptops reviewed here.
I don't know what your issue with KN is, but please, go complain about all the retards who post idiot level stuff ad nauseum on this forum before you try to run off one of the few people here who seriously contributes, even if his contribution contains references to his business.
We all win when KN talks about his experience with laptops, his command of the technology and his insight on what is going to available real soon.
You don't like that he also sells what he talks about, then ignore his messages. Some of us actually look forward to his posts so that we can keep current on the market and learn things like his laptops are exactly the same as Alienware and Falcon-NW (who btw I have bought my last 4 desktops from).
The bigger question is why doesn't TH review a KN laptop? Do they only review laptops from their ad buying sponsors and ignore the "little guys" who don't inflate their product prices by spending tons of money on marketing.
Thank you KN for educating me, as I am in the process of planning for a high end laptop. I was seriously looking at Alienware and would have probably had one (and spent several thousand dollars too much) now if KN hadn't been on this forum and opened my eyes about what the next few product cycles would be bringing to market.
I have no affiliation with KN, but I might a KN customer real soon...
