Hi

I found these speakers used and thought they might compliment my stereo. I hooked them up to a 60W amp and played them along side my other speakers. I couldn't hear the TOAs. I switched to just the TOAs and the sound was very low. OK, so they are highly inefficient speakers, that I understand.

What I don't understand is what they are for? Seriously. I haven't been able to find any information except that they belong to the F series of speakers. There is a single cone and a port. They have 2 quarter inch jacks on the back plus the regular red and black wire terminals. And they are heavy for such small speakers.

Any information about these speakers would be appreciated.

Thank you for your reply.

They are neither blown nor damaged. The sound coming from them was good. They can sustain 120W continuous PGM input. (guess that means Program) with 8 ohms impedance.

I am hoping for someone who knows this model as it is not supported on the TOA website, which might mean they are old...

It might be a monitor, but the mounting brackets suggest otherwise... I don't know.

Any other suggestions out there?
