Question Toshiba C50D Laptop

I currently have a Toshiba C50D-A laptop, Does any one know if the Mainboard from a C850 Laptop will fit into the C50D Case? If not does anyone know of any similar mainboard model other than the C50D that would fit?

Fitting (physically) is not the same as actually working. You can find ones that 'fit' inside, but that doesn't mean they will work with that computer.

Your best bet is to really go with the correct part. Better to do that than to damage the laptop by using the wrong part. Which then will lead to needing to replace the entire device.

Thank you for the reply... This is what I am looking at.. current C50 MB is a soldered CPU and the C850 offers a socket and a possible faster processor than the AMD fixed option.. below is two links, both boards look very similar..

Hi Does anyone know where to find the information for CPU support for this Laptop mainboard...
NOKOTION H000063030 which is for a Toshiba system..

I have looked on the Toshiba (Dynabook.com ETC and tried obvious web searched but have fallen short...

Any help or direction would be very grateful...
