Toshiba External hard rive not working on TV when previously did but works on Mac and PC

I recently got a new Mac computer and had to reformat my external hard drive to FAT32 from NFTS. It worked previously on my Samsung plasma TV but now it does not work on my TV but works on my Mac and PC. My brother also has the same Hard drive with the same format and it works fine.
What can i do to fix it???

This is really strange.
So the drives are absolutely the same and have the same file format right(FAT32)?
If this is the case, then I guess you can try connecting the problematic drive with another cable. You can take the cable from the other drive. You can try connecting it to other ports on the TV(if there are some more).
If the issue persists, then I guess it may be a good idea to test the drive with some HDD testing tool and see whether there is something wrong with it.
Also, in case you have formatted the drive on the MAC, it may be a good idea to re-format it on the PC.
