Toshiba Flat Screen 32"

I purchased a flat Toshiba flat screen in February and I am just getting around to addressing the sound issue. It doesn't go past 100. I am wondering is there a damaged spaker inside? If not should I invest in a surround sound to add to it for additinal volume?

A simple solution you would love would be to get a sound bar like the Sony HTCT260 http/amzn.to/18sEAT4 The sound is amazing and you don't have to run speaker wire or setup surround speakers.
