Toshiba L855 Laptop Battery Won't Charge and Has to Be Plugged in to Work

My Toshiba L855 laptop has a battery which is showing 80% charged but won't charge using power adapter/charger. I have to use power adapter/charger to use laptop. I tried unplugging power, remove battery, hold power 30 seconds, etc. and it did not work. Orange light continues to blink. Is it a bad battery?

The orange blinking light means that the battery will not hold a charge any longer - replace it.

if your system currently runs at windows 7 check the power options and check the checkbox saying "warn me if my battery needs replacement" and after that it will notify if your battery needs to be replaced youll need to do this because you dont know maybe its just a problem with the cord
