toshiba laptop not switching on

hi i have a laptop toshiba satellite p745 which is not switching.

when i put on charge the light is on but when i switched it on it doesnt switched on

i tried to link the two power button link together to see if it has any response but in vain


does any one have an idea what has been damaged?

Remove the RAM from the laptop, try turning it on, does it beep? If no beep the motherboard is probably bad.

Unplug wall power, main battery and also the CMOS battery from the motherboard. Hold in the power button for about 30 seconds. Without any batteries only wall power see if it turns on. If it does, connect the batteries and try again.

its working but its not booting

i get no image

i have set all to normal but its not booting

by the way there is no cmos battery in this laptop

its working but its not booting

So it does turn on but no image? Dead screen or video card issue then. See if it gets an image on a monitor.

There is a CMOS battery, but in your system it is not removable.
