Toshiba Laptop Smoked and Crashed

Hi All,
I saw smoke coming out of my Toshiba S55t-B5234 laptop, from the right side of keyboard and then it stopped working. It is not even starting now, even after removing the battery.

It was not heated when it happened, though I remember it did fall from my sofa yesterday (used it for about 2-3 hours after that).

I am not sure what happened and how to fix it. Please help.

Smoke is bad, you probably need a new motherboard at least and hopefully the hard drive or RAM is not damaged. First thing you need to do is open it up and examine the system for where any damage may be with burn marks, etc... Pretty much 100% chance you will need a new motherboard.
