Hello I own Toshiba Satellite C55-C1984.

Immediatlty after I turn on my laptop, it turns off... and then turns on again after few seconds with no apparent reason.

Should I worry about this?

Yes you should worry about that. But most likely fix would be a motherboard swap. To trouble-shoot, test it without the battery, only on wall power. Also try to reset it by removing battery and unplug from wall power, hold in the power button about 30 seconds, plug in, turn on, go to the BIOS options and reset those to defaults. Check things again.

If it keeps happening, you could try different RAM or one RAM stick at a time before looking at anything else.

Thanx for your replay,

I tried to remove battery... and nothing changed...
since my laptop working fine and it always turn on after turning off few seconds, does it need repair, my hard disk contain private data and I don't prefer to give it to any repair shop.

also I have CSM boot setting enabled and UEFI is disabled, do you think that these settings may cause this situation?
