I purchased a Toshiba Portege Z30-C laptop off Finn.no. I purchased a Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD M. 2280 – 500 GB ( NVMe) to install in it.
The SSD physically fits into the port.
However, the SSD is not recognized by the computer.
When I ran my Linux Ubuntu 18.04 installer, it is not detecting it in the drive list.
It is not recognized in the BIOS.
Tried different boot modes (CSM &UEFI), but that did not change anything.
Is there some sort of setting I have to configure or do some sort of Toshiba BIOS update to make this thing work?
Could it be a faulty SSD drive?
