My wife's laptop has th eblue screen of death and I was trying to reload it from teh recovery disks. They also boot up to the blue screen of death. Any suggestions? Thanks

Solution
Unplug any connection but the power and disable wifi. You may also have heat or hrad drive issue. IF you can open the bottom part, you can clean any dust with compressed air especially the fan area.

A friend suggested reseting the memory, which I did and the reboot behaved differently. I removed 1 of the memory cards and it rebooted and now I am trying different combinations to see if it is the card or the slot. Thanks for yur help :)
