Toshiba Satellite A305-S6825
Vista

Hi,
I am running into a weird problem during Restore Disk use in a Toshiba Satellite A305-S6825.
I have done previous Restores on this laptop. There is no problem with the Hard Drive, or the CD/DVD ROM Drive. I used the first Restore Disk with no problem, the laptop automatically restarted. I put the second Restore CD in, and rebooted ( Boot being correct: boot from CD ).
This laptop has never been on a network, and set to boot from LAN.
I get the Toshiba Screen and then the following:

For Realtek RTL8101E/8102E PCI-E Ethernet
PCE-E61: Media Test Failure, Check Cable
PCE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM

( I cannot find any way to get Restore CD 2 to run, been at it for hours now! )
I tested with every boot option, just to see if there was any change....none.

This is strange: when I tested with Restore Disk 1 in the drive, it runs ( which means it is recognizing the CD ROM Drive ); of course I cannot do anything on that CD because everything has been wiped already, and I do not have mouse or directional arrows function......

Can anyone help me to get Restore CD 2 to install?????

Thanks!

Tried starting with F8, just to see what I would get:

Same Message, but now added: "No Bootable Device, insert Boot Disk and Press any Key", keeps on recycling.

Why would the second Restore Disk, which has all the drivers, utilities, and Vista, etc, etc. NOT be bootable????
